On a sunny Saturday, September 8th, 2023, the tight-knit community of Mbubune came together to witness the incredible transformation of an idle land of Mbubune Primary School space into a vibrant playground. The Hummingbird Initiative, a non-profit organisation known for its community-driven projects, took on the challenge of breathing life into this idle space. Their mission? To create a playful haven for pupils from recycled tires, all while promoting sustainability and sparking creativity.
